Introducing the latest and greatest in the Australian haircare market – Yes Hair Australia. Aussie-made goodness delivering curly/textured hairs the hydration and style you didn’t know you needed! Jonina is the brains behind the brand and true story used to do my hair back in the day in her salon in Nowra, NSW. She asked if I could design the identity of this new venture as well as design the packaging for the range.
The logo was my first ever collaboration with Gill, the marker a local hand lettering artist on the South Coast of NSW doing great things. She wrote the ‘Yes’ and digitised it for my use to create the overall logo. Keeping to a simple sans serif with minimal markings and wide kerning to give a modern, youthful and friendly vibe to the design. I love simple logo designs as they have the best longevity. The colour palette is derived from the Waratah flower. Fun fact, the waratah is the NSW floral emblem. I kept the packaging simple with plenty of white space to allow the organic shapes to take centre stage.
The blobs were created by pouring products out onto paper and tracing the shapes the mess created. We decided to keep the colours the same for easy to identify products as the range continues to expand.

Since the launch the brand has seen tremendous growth, a cult following and launched new products which I also designed.
